How to order: Because of the specific and custom nature of off-road tandems in general, as well as the often needed tailoring of parts kits, wheelsets, forks and frame sizing, we believe it is essential for us to discuss the specifics of your order. Therefore, please call us at 678-445-0711 so we can discuss your needs. If you live near or expect to be in the Canton, GA, area and would like to stop by to talk tandems, take a test ride or make a purchase please call ahead so we can be sure that we'll be here and have what you need on hand when you arrive.

Methods of Payment: If you pick up your order in person, we gladly accept cash, credit cards, or US Postal Service Money Orders. For telephone and internet orders, we accept the following methods of payment: You may pay for your order with a personal check or US Postal Service Money Order. Orders will not be shipped until your check has cleared. You should assume at least a 14-day waiting period for personal checks. We will notify you via email when your check has cleared and your order has been shipped.     You may pay for your order with a Visa or MasterCard by phone only. DO NOT send credit card information to us via the internet or email! Our server is not secured for financial transactions.

Custom Orders: We welcome your custom order. We will work with any manufacturer whose products are warranted for off-road tandem use. If for some reason we cannot accommodate your custom order, we will help you find someone who can. We may require a deposit at the time you place your order for custom frames and bikes. The amount of deposit is based on the individual frame builders' requirements. The remainder of payment is due when we receive your frame from the manufacturer. If you fail to complete the transaction on your custom order, you will forfeit your deposit.

Shipping: In-stock orders are shipped the next business day, unless other arrangements are made at the time of your order. Parts and accessories orders are usually shipped via UPS, USPS, or FedEx. UPS and FedEx will not ship to PO Boxes. Complete bikes and some frames will be shipped via Danzas, or other specialty carrier. We will advise you of the shipping charges when you place your order. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Return Policy: We accept returned merchandise for store credit or exchange, but only within 30 days from the original purchase date. Returned merchandise must be in new, unused condition. We charge a 10% restocking fee for all returns, unless specifically waived by MTBTandems.com. Before returning any merchandise, you must get a return authorization # from Alex. Shipping and insurance charges on returns are your responsibility. A credit will be issued or exchange completed after we receive and inspect the returned merchandise. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on custom frames & bikes. You will be notified of in-stock status of all items when you place your order. If an item is out of stock, we will ship the remainder of your order less the backordered item. Once the item is in stock, we will notify you via email, and ship the item to you immediately.

Parts Policy: If you've done much off-road tandeming, you know that these big bikes can stress components more than the "normal" rider/bike. Therefore, we stock and sell only items which are approved by the manufacturers for use on off-road tandems. If you don't see a particular popular brand or item, it's usually because the manufacturer will not approve that item for off-road tandem use. If you have an item you want to use, or think would be appropriate for use on off-road tandems, let us know. We are constantly talking with component manufacturers about making components suitable for off-road tandem use.
